“Ashes” was inspired by an idea gifted to me by @noemi.creativesouls. She told me- “…why don’t you do something about a Phoenix rising from the ashes?”
This is a concept that resonated with me deeply. As someone who largely uses music as a form of healing, it has carried me through some unfathomably dark times into where I am now.
I know there are many who can relate, who have embarked upon similar journeys through whatever their medicinal outlet(s) may be.
Ronald (@staticproject) took this idea and mustered up something extraordinary through his artistic outlet. I am beyond grateful that we could join forces once again, and so happy that the concept provided him some inspiration as well.
This song is dedicated to anyone and everyone going through personal struggles (because, let’s face it, these times we live in come with their difficulties no matter who you are)
I’m sending everyone a drop of love and light, and I hope it can be taken and passed around, because we are all going through something and we all have the ability to transmute that struggle into strength.
